Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer with expertise in E-Plan and MicroStation, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions and efficient services to customers. Joining the Industrial Solutions Quality Team within our Digital Solutions business, which focuses on providing intelligent, connected technologies for monitoring and controlling energy extraction assets, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer operations and ensuring peace of mind. Your role will involve designing projects in adherence to engineering standards and customer requirements. Utilizing E-plan and MicroStation software, you will be responsible for creating and updating project drawings, including system layouts, internal wiring, loop drawings, mechanical modifications for existing cabinets, and junction box layouts. Furthermore, you will provide support to manufacturing and services by addressing technical queries, leading part creation, and independently designing cabinets. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring quality, execution time, and cost efficiency, as well as suggesting design improvements to meet project objectives effectively. To excel in this position, you should hold a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, or Mechanical, coupled with 4-8 years of professional experience. Proficiency in E-plan and MicroStation software/tools, strong written and verbal English communication skills, experience in global project execution, and familiarity with document layout, formatting, and editing are essential for success. Demonstrating initiative, the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision is crucial for thriving in this role.
