Design Drafter

As a Designer III at Weatherford's Airoli, Navi Mumbai office, you will be responsible for performing routine tasks related to the design of new products and enhancing existing products. Your role will involve evaluating products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability under the supervision of a team leader. In addition to this, you will work across various product lines as a drafting and Windchill loading and clean-up resource. Your key responsibilities will include executing engineering tasks following established procedures, such as layout drawing, material selection, cost estimation, and tolerance studies. It is crucial to efficiently apply your technical skills to assigned projects, continuously enhance your knowledge on domain skills, and adhere to defined processes for maintaining excellent quality in your work. Understanding industry standards like API, ASME, and ASTM will be essential for this role, along with providing regular status/progress reports and ensuring timely project deliverables. To excel in this role, you must complete engineering layouts for fit, form, and function checking, conduct drafting in Creo or AutoCAD based on marked up prints, and collaborate with CAD Drafters for drawing creation. Being a team player, flexible to assigned work, and performing various other duties as required by CAD Analyst, Team Lead & Project Lead are also part of your responsibilities.
