- Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer - Conduct thorough skin examinations to assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment methods - Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and laser treatments - Prescribe medications and therapies to treat skin conditions while educating patients on their use and potential side effects - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care when necessary - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations - Stay updated on the latest dermatological research and advancements to provide innovative and effective patient care - Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on skin health and preventive care

Required Qualifications

- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a dermatology residency program - Board certification in dermatology - Valid medical license to practice dermatology in the state of employment - Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in performing dermatological procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of dermatology
