Job Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing automation solutions for projects, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. Your responsibilities include: - Studying project requirements and collaborating with Design, Assembly Engineers & Manufacturing for detailed analysis of deliverables with respect to Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) Targets. - Planning appropriate automation solutions and selecting items to meet project KPIs. Generating specification documents for vendor ordering. - Developing automation solutions, including software development and hardware selection. Conducting POC, trials, and generating documentation for Third party vendors. - Validating project deliverables and ensuring DAP approvals are provided as per requirements. - Ensuring smooth functioning of running systems, overseeing planned activities to prevent production loss. Providing support to production and Quality for Process Robustness & compliance. - Executing installation and commissioning of projects, validating project KPIs with trials. Providing training to other departments. - Facilitating a successful ramp-up and ensuring a smooth handover of the project with applicable documents to Production and maintenance Team. - Working inclusively with the team. Qualifications: - Expertise in PLC & LabView Programming, SQL database. - Good knowledge of Industrial Vision Systems. - Hands-on experience in Installation & Commissioning of projects. - Proficiency in Python, AI, ML, IOT, IIOT. - Sound knowledge of Robots, Sensors, actuators application, and selection. Functional Competencies: - Excellent Interpersonal and teamworking skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong Problem-solving approach. - Enterprising in your way of working.
