Position Deputy Manager/ManagerNo. of Position 1Function B2B Onboarding (policy issuance)Location NoidaReporting to AVP- Operations Team Policy OnboardingJOB SUMMARY: An experience and detailed oriented candidate who can oversee Policy Issuance process for B2B Group Business. He will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end policy issuance process within the insurance company. This includes overseeing a team, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high levels of accuracy, and adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards. The manager will play a key role in optimizing processes, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring timely and accurate policy delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
? Oversee the entire policy issuance lifecycle, from application and other documents scrutiny and insured data upload into policy admin system, generation of master policy document and dispatch to customer.? Ensure all policy applications are processed accurately and efficiently, adhering to defined service level agreements (SLAs) and internal benchmarks.? Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of policy issuance specialists, ensuring high performance and productivity.? Coordinate with underwriting, sales, claims, Partner Onboarding, Finance and other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless policy issuance.? Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to policy issuance (e.g., turnaround time, error rates, volumes).? Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance, trends, and challenges.? Address and resolve complex policy issuance queries and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.? Ensure closure of open debit/credit balance by coordinating with cross functional teams within defined timeline.? Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations (manage internal/external audits)? Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the policy issuance process and explore solutions for improvement and develop automation tools for enhanced accuracy.? Utilize technology and automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual intervention.? Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency.KEY STAKEHOLDERS ? Internal: Sales, Finance, Partner onboarding, Customer serviceDepartment/ Operations / Management, IT. ? External: Customer, Partner, Vendors, Banks.MEASURES of SUCCESS: ? Adherence to SLA and KPIsdefined.? Quality in deliverables.? Compliance and audit rating? Closure of reconciliation on time.? Automation And Initiatives Taken QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., LOMA, FLMI, AIII, FIII) are a plus.? Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in insurance operations, with a significant focus on policy issuance.? Proven experience in a team leadership or managerial role.? In-depth knowledge of insurance products (Life, General, Health, etc., depending on the company's focus.? Understanding of B2O, Group Credit Life Insurance products would be preferred.KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED ? Committed And Result Oriented.
