Deputy manager/Assistant Manager (Electrical Head) | Bhuj | Nov-2025

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical systems are operating optimally
• Drive efficiency of power and fuel systems (Maintain power factor of 0.99)
• Responsible for plant and food safety (wiring, etc.) -- food safety aspect is from the perspective of ensuring machinery such as metal detectors, etc. are running optimally to ensure food sfaety
• Inspection of all electrical systems in the plant and breakdown maintenance
• If any electrical equipment has gone out for repair, they must track it and ensure it comes back
• Decision to replace, repair or discard a machine part is taken by this role (hence role-holder will conduct thorough analysis and build a case for replacement or discard, as applicable)
• Coordinate with Engineering Head for repairs and replacements For major breakdowns, will escalate it to the Engineering Head, who can use additional experience to tackle the issue
• in the absence of Maintenance Head Ensure the 100% availability of machines and its efficiency.
• All kind of breakdowns have to be tackled in a shift with minimum time and handover back to production.
• Have to get the material issued from store for any requirement during machine breakdown or as required anywhere within factory premises. Ensure proper utilization of maintenance department during the shift.(assign some routine maintenance work to workforce)
• Preparation of list of maintenance to be carried out on maintenance day based on its severity.
• Ensure posting of engineering materials in SAP for the material issued for machine maintenance or else. In case of no breakdown in a shift have to do work of assigned additional responsibilities or have to implement kaizens Coordination with Production shift staff for shift Production / imparting training to operators or any of the need of the time.
• Ensure all utilities are running on set standard parameters to get desired working environment need. Ensure all Food Safety and Human Safety consideration while attending any maintenance work during the shift.
• Ensuring quality services from Engg Services to user depts.
• Ensuring plant safety
• Should have knowledge of material handling, pneumatic conveying
• Should have knowledge of pneumatic and hydrolic system. Should have knowledge of RO,ETP,Thermopack,D.G& compressor
• Should have knowledge of Bearings, gears & sprockets,chain etc.
• Basic knowledge of Electrical and PLC system.
• Should have knowledge of team mate handling.
• Must have knowledge of machines maintenance.
• Day to day maintenance of machines• Conduct preventive maintenance as per plan•

• KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF PLC PROGRAMMING IS MUST. PERSONS WHO DOESN'T HAVE SUCH KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE, BETTER NOT TO APPLY

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should be B.E./B.Tech- Electrical/ Electronic/I&C - minimum 8 years of experience.
