Deputy Manager/ Manager - Infotainment System

As an Infotainment System Specialist at our company, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Creating infotainment system specifications, including hardware and software specifications, vehicle layouting/packaging, and development with suppliers and internal stakeholders - Managing part and vehicle validation/testing, 3rd party certification, and schedule management - Creating infotainment specifications, high-level features, and deployment plans - Developing Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Quotation (RFQ), control spec/hardware spec/software spec, and end customer-specific test/abuse cases - Studying competitors" models to identify new technology and deployment in our models - Designing the layout and packaging of infotainment and peripherals such as antennas, feeder cables, etc. - Coordinating with business partners for infotainment system development and deployment in multiple models - Managing schedules in alignment with vehicle schedules To excel in this role, you should have the following technical/functional competencies: - Profound experience in electrical and software design and development - Hands-on experience in developing electrical/electronic components with business partners - Good understanding of hardware and software architecture, operating systems (AAOS, Linux), hardware components (SoC, memory), and interfaces with other vehicle ECUs - Experience with infotainment CAN stacks, OTA functionality implementation, and creating requirements for infotainment from an end customer perspective - Knowledge of infotainment peripheral parts and experience with 3rd party certifications - Hands-on experience in testing infotainment parts at bench and vehicle levels, bug identification, and resolution - A keen interest in understanding technology trends in various domains such as consumer electronics Desirable qualifications and behaviors include: - Experience in creating automated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) scripts for bench level evaluation - Positive attitude, proactive nature, and effective team player - Good communication and presentation skills - Willingness to take calculated risks for the benefit of the company - Ability to strive for win-win situations with internal and external customers - Stay updated on industry trends and apply them in your work - Coordinate department activities and represent the department/MSIL in forums Your specific expertise for this functional area should include: - Experience in the acoustic area with at least 2+ years of experience with an OEM Educational Qualifications: - BE / B.
