Deputy Manager/ Manager - Infotainment System

As an Infotainment System Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for creating infotainment system specifications, collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and managing the development process. Your role will involve designing hardware and software specifications, coordinating part and vehicle validation/testing, and ensuring third-party certification. Additionally, you will need to manage schedules effectively to align with vehicle timelines. Your key responsibilities will include creating detailed infotainment specifications, studying competitor models for new technology insights, and overseeing the layout and packaging of infotainment components and peripherals. You will work closely with business partners to drive the development and deployment of infotainment systems across multiple vehicle models. In terms of technical competencies, you should have a deep understanding of electrical and software design and development. Hands-on experience in collaborating with business partners on electrical/electronic components is essential. You should also possess knowledge of hardware and software architecture, operating systems, and infotainment CAN stacks. Experience with third-party certifications and testing of infotainment parts will be crucial in this role. Desirable skills include the ability to create automated scripts for bench-level evaluations and a proactive attitude towards understanding technology trends. Effective communication, teamwork, and a willingness to take calculated risks for the benefit of the organization are vital qualities we are looking for in a candidate. As part of the role, you will be expected to stay updated on industry trends, represent the company in various forums, and demonstrate expertise in the acoustic area. A Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
