Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record to Report (R2R) Management:

    Lead and manage the end-to-end R2R process, including journal entries, month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting:

    Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including

    Balance Sheet

    ,

    Profit & Loss

    , and

    Cash Flow

    statements. Coordinate with senior management to deliver comprehensive reports.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closures:

    Supervise month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures. Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Account Reconciliation:

    Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure that all discrepancies are investigated, resolved, and documented in a timely manner.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls:

    Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements. Assist in the design and implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets and financial integrity.
  • Financial Analysis:

    Assist in variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making. Monitor key financial metrics to track performance and suggest corrective actions if needed.
  • Process Optimization:

    Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the R2R process. Propose and implement best practices for continuous improvement in reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Team Leadership:

    Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing training, guidance, and performance reviews. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure optimal team performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    Work closely with internal stakeholders such as tax, procurement, and legal teams to ensure seamless financial operations. Communicate findings and results to senior management and other departments.
  • Audit Support:

    Assist in internal and external audit processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and records are prepared. Resolve audit queries and facilitate the completion of audits.
  • Data Quality & Reporting Systems:

    Ensure the accuracy of data entered into financial systems. Support the maintenance and optimization of financial reporting tools and platforms (e.g.,

    SAP

    ,

    Oracle

    ).
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Support:

    Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

    in

    Accounting

    ,

    Finance

    ,

    Business Administration

    , or a related field (Mandatory).
  • 5-7 years

    of experience in

    Record to Report (R2R)

    operations, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Proven experience in leading

    month-end

    and

    year-end closing

    processes and

    financial reporting

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    GAAP

    ,

    IFRS

    , and

    financial regulations

    .
  • ERP systems knowledge

Preferred Experience:

  • CPA

    or equivalent professional accounting certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience with financial systems integration
