Role Overview:

The Deputy Manager Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and reporting for the organization. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the FMCG sector with strong analytical, accounting, and financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per statutory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely closure of audits.
• Monitor cash flows, working capital, and support treasury activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
• Implement and strengthen internal controls and process improvements.
• Support management with MIS reports, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as operations, sales, procurement, and supply chain.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and MS Excel.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
