Role & responsibilities: 1. Should be from pharma background. Preferable in Ayurvedic unit. 2. Handling plant maintenance. 3. Responsible for overall engineering functions in tablet/capsule/liquid syrup/ointment/chyawanprash/sterile manufacturing plant. 4. Responsible for O&M (Operations & Maintenance) of utility, HVAC, Water System and Process maintenance, Electrical Operations, etc. 5. Expertise in equipment Installation, Procurement, Vendor Development, equipment commissioning. 6. Responsible for PM (Preventive Maintenance), Calibration, Facility maintenance and department safety functions. 7. Responsible for regulatory and statutory audit compliance. 8. Responsible for Preparation of maintenance reports budget and expenses control. 9. Knowledge about basic cGMP. Preferred candidate profile: Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment, facilities, and utilities, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of issues. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations, including GMP and safety standards. Experience in managing and controlling budgets for maintenance operations. Ability to plan, manage, and execute maintenance-related projects effectively. Candidates from pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry is typically required.
