We are seeking a seasoned professional to join a renowned Footwear Company as Deputy General Manager Supply Chain & Logistics, based in Kolkata

The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and distribution management, preferably from the manufacturing or retail industry

Key Responsibilities:

SupplyChainStrategy: Design and implement strategic supply chain and logistics plans aligned with business goals
OperationsManagement: Lead warehouse, procurement, and transport functions to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence
InventoryOptimization: Optimize inventory management systems and streamline end-to-end processes for improved turnaround
VendorManagement: Build and manage vendor and third-party logistics relationships for seamless operations
ProcessImprovement: Drive operational excellence using data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics operations
Expertise: Proven knowledge in inventory control, distribution, warehousing, and vendor management
Leadership: Strong people management and analytical skills to lead large, cross-functional teams
Industry Background: Preferred experience from footwear, retail, or manufacturing sectors
