Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users as a PHP/Java Web Architect/Developer. Your primary focus will include developing all server-side logic, maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Additionally, you will integrate front-end elements built by you or co-workers into the application, requiring a solid understanding of front-end technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Mobility Initiatives, demonstrating thorough knowledge of Web and Mobility Design and development landscape, including secure applications development technology best practices. - Estimate work in various scenarios and drive estimations for multiple line-items, ensuring synergy across projects and programs. - Fully understand synchronous behavior of PHP and other open-source technologies and frameworks like Springs for web and portal hosting. - Implement MVC design patterns and have expert knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Possess very good knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, code analysis, defect analysis, and log analysis. - Work through all stages of SDLC with customer interactions, applying Agile methodology knowledge and experience. - Understand multi-tier architectures with a modular approach to architecting the server end of solutions. - Hands-on experience with technologies like PHP, Java, Angular JS, Microsoft .Net framework, and .Net Core. - Manage the TML Spend on Cloud over the next three years, with an approximate annual spend of 15Cr. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, MBA Information Systems, or related technical field - Minimum experience requirement: 10-15 Years - Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Yii, codeigniter etc), server end scripts like Python-Django, Ruby on Rails, .Net Core, ASP.Net, Java etc. - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application, user authentication, and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. - Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform, SQL/NoSQL databases, code versioning tools like Github, and automation tools like Travis_CI. Additional Details: You will act as the Single Point Accountability for the Technology choices made by TML. Your role will involve owning architectural decisions of system changes and enhancements, along with the Infrastructure team. You will create and maintain the technology roadmap for the organization and provide directional input to the CIO on technology decisions for key initiatives. Additionally, you will own and manage Tech Debt of Tata Motors IT Systems.
