Deputy Director of Flying Training

About the Role

Inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Deputy Director of Flying Training in Level-I2 of the 7th CPC pay matrix on Deputation basis in Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) - reg.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Flying Training in conducting practical tests for the issue and renewal of AFIR and FIR.

Assist the Director of Flying Training in conducting qualification checks for PPL and CPL.

Carry out inspections of flying clubs and recommend measures to improve training standards.

Scrutinize flying and gliding progress reports submitted by clubs.

Issue circulars, notifications, and other directives to ensure adequate training standards in flying clubs.

Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, or rule violations concerning flying clubs.

Requirements

(i) Graduation in Science with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognised University or Institute.

(ii) Air Transport Pilot Licence with open rating on aeroplanes having an all-up-weight not exceeding 5700 Kilogram.
