Departmental Coordinator - Anesthesia

Role Overview: You will be a Departmental Coordinator supporting the Anesthesia department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai. Your role will involve overseeing scheduling, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure efficient departmental functioning aligned with clinical and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Head of Department and Consultant Anesthetists, managing correspondence and daily tasks. - Organize anesthesia schedules aligned with OT planning, ensuring availability for surgeries and pre-op assessments. - Maintain anesthesia-related records including checklists, consent forms, and post-op notes with accuracy and compliance. - Coordinate with OT, surgical, nursing, biomedical, and stores teams to ensure seamless anesthesia service delivery. - Prepare duty rosters and manage leave calendars to ensure proper staffing. - Arrange meetings, document minutes, assist with CMEs and quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety and accreditation standards. - Monitor anesthesia equipment and supplies, provide coverage during staff absences, and support efficient resource use.
