Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures by preparing, passing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort.
Take and develop dental X
rays and ensure their accurate documentation.
Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure they feel comfortable and informed.
Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle billing inquiries as needed.
Educate patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred.
Current CPR certification and familiarity with basic life support procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage patient interactions empathetically.
Proficient in dental software and basic computer skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast
paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Experience in dental assisting or a related field is an advantage.
