DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST

Role Overview: As a Demand Planning Analyst in the Procurement department, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining forecast models for customers. You will work closely with various departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure accurate demand forecasting. Additionally, you will lead discussions on meeting customer demand and participate in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Key Responsibilities: - Develop demand forecasts at SKU level based on historical trends - Utilize and upkeep the Infor DP database - Contribute to the development of statistical forecast models to optimize market demand while maintaining customer service levels - Assist in managing Safety Stocks at the Warehouse level - Generate reports using Excel and Power BI Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business with a specialization in Economics and/or Marketing - Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning Soft Skills: - Ability to interpret numbers and data to derive valuable insights - Understanding of seasonality and peak demand periods - Strong sense of accountability - Attention to detail Technical Skills: - Proficiency in statistical modeling - Advanced database and Excel skills - Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Power BI and Excel, as well as demand/supply planning software (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.),
