Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Cyber Defence & Resilience team, with extensive experience in Cyber Incident Response. In this role you will support our client engagements by defining, delivering and improving Cyber Incident Response programs to enhance our clients Readiness, Response and Recovery capabilities for cyber incidents, crises and high-impact events. You will also serve as an internal champion and integrator helping design, develop and deploy Cyber Crisis & Incident Response and Technical Resilience offerings across Deloittes Cyber practice.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end incident response engagements: investigation, containment, remediation, recovery and post-incident review; coordinate and manage client-deliverables, technical sessions, and communications.
  • Develop and enhance clients Crisis & Incident Response solutions and playbooks leveraging industry standards such as International Organization for Standardization ISO 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks, Center for Internet Security (CIS) controls.
  • Identify and drive process optimisation and continuous-improvement opportunities across monitoring, detection, triage and response.
  • Lead, supervise and mentor a blended team (e.g., U.S. and U.S-India) fostering high performance, collaboration, professional development and delivery excellence.
  • Serve as an internal solution champion: define market-offering strategy, develop service capabilities in Crisis & Incident Response and Technical Resilience aligned with evolving threat-landscape and client-needs.
  • Provide thought leadership: contribute to training, awareness initiatives, and the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, tools and methodologies in incident response and resilience.
  • Partner with business development teams: support proposals, client presentations, and client-conversations to grow Deloittes Cyber Incident Response practice.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber Defence & Resilience solutions, including but not limited to cyber incident response, cyber resilience and/or leading cyber transformation programmes.
  • BS/BA degree (or equivalent)
  • Ability to travel up to ~50% on average, depending on client engagements, industries and locations.
  • Limited visa sponsorship may be available.
