Role & responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager to lead our DevOps and Agile transformation initiatives. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex software projects, driving continuous improvement through DevOps practices, fostering strong client relationships, and empowering agile teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities: DevOps Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy, driving automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC). Lead the implementation and optimization of DevOps tools and processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery. Promote a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement across development and operations teams. Oversee the management of cloud infrastructure and ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. Ensure the monitoring and alerting system is in place and effective. Project Management & Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and status reports. Implement and enforce project management methodologies, ensuring consistent and predictable delivery. Manage resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization of team members. Ensure proper documentation of all projects. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. Provide regular updates to clients on project progress and address any concerns or issues. Proactively identify and address potential client risks and opportunities. Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction. Agile & Scrum Mastery: Lead and mentor agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Remove impediments and ensure teams are able to achieve their sprint goals. Promote agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles. Coach teams and individuals on agile methodologies. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Recruit and onboard new team members. Ensure proper knowledge transfer within the team. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development and project management. Proven experience in leading DevOps transformations and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Extensive experience with agile methodologies and Scrum. Excellent client relationship management and communication skills. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of software development life cycle(SDLC). Experience in managing remote teams.
