Role & responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional development. Develop and oversee the implementation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing and UAT. Coordinate and prioritize testing activities to align with project timelines and objectives. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing and UAT. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments, including development, product management, and customer support. Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and management. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. Preferred candidate profile Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Validate fixes and enhancements, ensuring that they meet quality standards and do not introduce new issues. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with business stakeholders, end-users, and project managers to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria. Design, execute, and manage UAT processes, ensuring that solutions meet user needs and business goals. Facilitate UAT sessions, collect and analyze feedback, and ensure that all issues are documented and communicated effectively. Usability Testing: Design and conduct usability tests to evaluate the user experience. Identify and report usability issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure that the software is intuitive and user-friendly. Compatibility Testing: Develop and execute compatibility tests across various platforms, browsers, and devices. Ensure that the software functions consistently across different environments. Identify and resolve compatibility issues. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB certification. Experience with performance testing. Experience with security testing. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
