Delivery Leader, Enterprise AI Platform

The Mission

We are building Purple Fabric, a cloud-native Agentic AI Platform designed to power mission-critical AI for the world's most demanding financial institutions. We are seeking a Delivery & Operations Leader to own the operational integrity, reliability, and delivery velocity of this platform.

This role is not about managing projects; it's about owning the engine. You will be responsible for ensuring that Purple Fabricour core platformis delivered and run with world-class quality. You will be the force that translates ambitious technical roadmaps into a stable, scalable, and predictable production reality.

What You Will Do?

As the Delivery Leader, you will be the single point of ownership for the platform's delivery lifecycle and operational health. You will:

• Own the entire delivery plan,

  from roadmap commitment to production deployment across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Translate strategic priorities

  from Product and the CTO into an executable, high-velocity release plan with clear milestones and dependencies.

• Drive the operating rhythm

  of the platform: run release readiness, conduct rigorous incident reviews, and lead deep post-mortems to ensure we never make the same mistake twice.

• Partner with DevOps/SRE

  to set, monitor, and relentlessly enforce SLAs/SLOs for platform availability, performance, and incident response.

• Systematically identify and destroy bottlenecks

  —whether in technology, process, or people—that stand between our engineers and high-quality, frequent deployments.

• Build and enforce the governance

  and quality gates required for mission-critical, BFSI-grade security, compliance, and stability.

• Serve as the definitive source of truth

  on status, risks, and mitigation plans for leadership and clients.

What Success Looks Like?

• Releases are predictable and "drama-free."

  Surprises and last-minute fires are systematically engineered out of the process.

• Key metrics are improving.

  Deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR aren't just statistics you track; they are levers you actively pull.

• The platform is trusted.

  Operations teams have confidence in its stability, and when incidents do occur, they are handled with speed, precision, and systematic follow-up.

• You are the "go-to" person.

  When something critical needs to be done, you are the one the organization trusts to see it through to completion.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is

• Execution-Obsessed:

  You have a 10–15+ year track record of owning complex technical deliveries (ideally SaaS or cloud platforms) from start to finish. You care deeply about outcomes, not just tracking tasks.

• Technically Credible:

  You have deep experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern delivery practices (CI/CD, DevOps, SRE). You can understand, challenge, and unblock technical decisions, even if you're not coding daily.

• Allergic to Chaos:

  You remain calm under pressure but are driven to build systems, processes, and rituals that eliminate chaos and ambiguity.

• A "Zoom In/Zoom Out" Thinker:

  You can dive deep to unblock a specific technical issue and, in the next meeting, zoom out to re-plan a quarterly release.

• Has High Ownership & Urgency:

  You treat the platform as yours and are relentless in driving it forward.

• A Direct, Transparent Communicator:

  You can manage stakeholders and communicate crisply to everyone from engineers to CXOs and clients.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in highly regulated domains (e.g., Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets).
• Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, or other data-intensive platforms.
• Experience building delivery frameworks for multi-tenant, client-facing platforms.
