Delivery Executive

A delivery executive's primary role is to ensure the timely and safe delivery of packages, documents, or other items to their designated recipients. This often involves picking up items from a depot or collection point and transporting them to the customer's address, sometimes requiring interaction with customers to complete the delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Package Handling:Collecting, loading, unloading, and transporting packages, ensuring they are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Route Planning & Navigation:Organizing delivery routes efficiently and navigating to various locations, often using navigation tools or apps.
• Customer Interaction:Providing excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and addressing any concerns or queries related to the delivery.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures, handling payments (if applicable), and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
• Vehicle Maintenance:Ensuring the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and fueled for efficient operation.
• Time Management:Managing delivery schedules effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
• Problem Solving:Addressing and resolving any issues that may arise during the delivery process, such as address discrepancies or customer unavailability.
• Safety Compliance:Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures during the delivery process, including traffic rules and vehicle operation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License: Essential for operating the delivery vehicle.
• Driving Skills: Proficiency in driving and navigating various road conditions.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers.
• Time Management: Ability to plan and manage delivery routes and schedules effectively.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages, often for extended periods.
• Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using navigation tools and apps.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic Vehicle Maintenance: Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
• Record Keeping Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records of deliveries and related information.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve delivery-related issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
