Delivery Boy

Job Description: DTDC is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Boy to join our team in Andheri East, Marol. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of packages and documents to customers in the designated area. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated individual with excellent time management skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery and Pick-up:
• Pick up and deliver parcels and documents to and from customers within the assigned territory.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
• Collect payments from customers for Cash on Delivery (COD) shipments.
• Handle and manage a daily manifest of deliveries and pickups.
• Customer Service:
• Provide polite and professional service to all customers.
• Address customer queries and concerns regarding their shipments.
• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude.
• Operational Duties:
• Sort and organize packages for efficient delivery routing.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and payments.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the office in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bike: Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and own a personal bike.
• Documents: Should possess a valid driving license, Aadhar Card, and PAN Card.
• Education: Minimum qualification of 10th Pass.
• Skills:
• Good knowledge of local areas in and around Andheri East, Marol.
• Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and delivery applications.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Ability to handle packages and documents with care.
• Experience: Previous experience in a delivery or courier role is an advantage but not mandatory. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Working Hours:

• Generally a full-time role, with working hours typically from Monday to Saturday. Specific timings may vary based on branch requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
