Role Description

This is a volunteer hybrid role at the Delhi law wing of the Youth United Council of India. The role requires candidates to contribute from Chennai with some flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case briefs, analyzing laws and regulations, and assisting in drafting legal materials. Volunteering members will collaborate with the team to develop policies and strategies in alignment with legal frameworks and support organizational activities as applicable.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in areas such as Law, Business Law, and Labor and Employment Law
Proficient in Writing and Research, including drafting legal documents and conducting in-depth analysis
Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
Proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving within legal contexts
Relevant educational background in Law or related fields
Previous experience in legal or civil rights organizations is an advantage
