Position: DCS Engineer – Boiler

Plant-based (Sponge Iron Division)

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 02 – 04 years of experience in DCS operations of boilers within Sponge Iron / Power Plant / Steel / Process industries
• Hands-on knowledge of boiler operation, turbine auxiliaries, and safety systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Boiler systems through DCS (Distributed Control System).
• Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted boiler operation during shifts.
• Track process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, fuel, etc.) and make real-time adjustments.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when required.
• Coordinate with shift in-charges, operations, and maintenance teams for smooth plant functioning.
• Maintain shift logbooks, process reports, and operational records.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
