• Lead end-to-end Oracle to PostgreSQL migration initiatives, including:
• Schema analysis and conversion
• Data transformation and validation
• Performance benchmarking and tuning
• Design scalable target architectures on cloud platforms (Azure OR GCP)
• Automate migration workflows using scripting and DevOps pipelines
• Collaborate with application teams to ensure compatibility and minimal downtime
• Conduct risk assessments and develop rollback strategies
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
• 11+ years of experience in database architecture and development
• Proven track record in Oracle-to-Oracle migrations
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL optimisation
• Oracle to Oracle migration
• From lower Oracle version 9/10 to Oracle 19/ 21/23
• From AIX / Sun Solaris / Linux / Windows to Linux GCE, GCVE
• Product or Tool knowledge and experience
• RMAN
• Oracle Golden Gate
• Oracle Data Guard
• Oracle Data Pump
• ZDM
