Daycare Teacher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring and responsible Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged [0–6] years, while supporting their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities: Childcare & Development:

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
• Create and follow a structured daily routine including play, learning, meals, and nap time.
• Conduct age-appropriate learning and developmental activities.
• Encourage positive behavior and social interaction.

Curriculum Support:

• Plan and implement creative lesson plans focused on early childhood development.
• Introduce basic concepts such as colors, numbers, shapes, and letters.
• Use storytelling, music, art, and games to engage children.
• Observe and document each child’s progress and development.

Communication & Reporting:

• Communicate with parents regarding child’s daily activities, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with other staff members and participate in staff meetings and training.

Hygiene & Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms and play areas.
• Assist with feeding, diaper changing, potty training, and dressing when needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma; Diploma in Early Childhood Education or NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a daycare or preschool setting is desirable.
• Patience, warmth, and a genuine love for children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of child psychology and development stages.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Fluency in English and local language.
• Creative and energetic with a hands-on approach to learning.
