Job Description

DataStage Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide

    Level 2/3 Production Support

    for DataStage ETL workflows.
  • Proactively monitor jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and DevOps.
  • Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities for DataStage components.
  • Contribute to documentation and production runbooks.
  • Add value through process improvement, automation, and knowledge sharing in the support space.

Primary Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in

    IBM DataStage

    in a

    Production Support

    role (mandatory)
  • Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution experience in real-time production environments

Secondary Skills (Preferred):

  • Exposure to

    CI/CD tools

    (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Working knowledge of

    SSIS

    (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • Familiarity with

    Unix/Linux scripting
