Senior Software Engineer / Lead Driver & SDK Development (Datapath Forwarding)

Experience:5 to 15 Years

Job Summary

Driver and SDK Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize
device drivers and SDKs
for networking systems
Work on
datapath forwarding
and packet processing pipelines
Develop and maintain high-performance code using
C/C++
Work with
Linux and/or NX-OS
environments
Implement and integrate
P4-based programmable data planes
Debug and resolve complex system-level and performance issues
Collaborate with hardware, architecture, and platform teams to deliver robust networking solutions
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

715 years of experience in
system-level software development
Strong proficiency in
C/C++
Hands-on experience with
Driver and SDK development
Solid understanding of
datapath forwarding
, packet processing, and networking fundamentals
Experience working with
Linux and/or NX-OS
Practical exposure to
P4 programming
and programmable networking
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
