Job Description

Databricks Engineer / Associate Manager / Manager Data Engineering

Experience:

Data Engineering professionals

Key Responsibilities

Databricks Engineer (6–9 Years)

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using
Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL / Scala)
Work on
Delta Lake
(ACID, schema evolution, time travel, optimization)
Build workflows using
Databricks Workflows, DLT, Unity Catalog
Optimize Spark jobs and Databricks clusters
Implement
Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
Work with cloud storage (
S3 / ADLS / GCS
) and security basics

Associate Manager – Data Engineering (8–10 Years)

All Engineer responsibilities plus
Lead small data engineering teams
Own end-to-end pipeline and solution design
Implement
CI/CD & DevOps
(Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Databricks CLI)
Ensure data security, governance, and best practices

Manager – Data Engineering (10–12 Years)

All Associate Manager responsibilities plus
Drive architecture decisions on Databricks platforms
Work closely with business and analytics teams
Lead multiple projects and mentor teams
Define data engineering standards and roadmap

Mandatory Skills (All Levels)

Databricks Platform
(Notebooks, DLT, Workflows, Unity Catalog)
Apache Spark / PySpark / Spark SQL
