Database Specialist

As a Database Developer at Lepide, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing relational database structures to ensure optimal performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to effectively manage and retrieve data. - Ensuring database security measures, backups, and disaster recovery plans are in place. - Performing query optimization and database tuning to enhance overall performance. - Integrating databases with applications and reporting tools for efficient data flow. - Monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system health. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams like data analysts and software developers to meet project requirements. - Staying updated on SQL best practices, technologies, and trends for continuous improvement. - Utilizing experience with SQL Connection Mechanism. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. - Experience with NoSQL and SQL to NoSQL migration. - Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. - Familiarity with database security, authentication, and encryption methods. - Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience with costs. - Experience with Git, SVN, DevOps, etc. Additionally, it would be good to have knowledge in: - Database Administration (DBA). - IT Security Products. - Data Lake. - Data concepts on the Cloud (Azure, GCP, etc.). - Knowledge of Python, Pandas, etc. - Kafka, RabbitMQ, Build pipelines.
