Database Specialist

You will be responsible for designing and implementing relational database structures for optimal performance. This includes writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manage and retrieve data efficiently. Additionally, you will ensure database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans are in place. Your role will involve performing query optimization and database tuning to enhance performance. You will also be required to integrate databases with applications and reporting tools, ensuring efficient data flow. Monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining overall system health are crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like data analysts and software developers to fulfil project requirements is essential. It is important to stay updated with SQL best practices, technologies, and trends for continuous improvement. Experience with SQL Connection Mechanism is expected. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. - Experience with NoSQL and SQL to NoSQL Migration. - Strong knowledge of database design, data modelling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. - Familiarity with database security, authentication, and encryption methods. - Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience with Costs. - Experience with Git, SVN, DevOps Etc.
