Database Specialist/ Architect/ Designer

As a Database Architect, you will be responsible for developing database architectural strategies to meet business and industry requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating a flexible, well-designed, and consistent data architecture to support high-performance databases in high availability environments. - Designing data partitions and function-based indexes for efficient access to the extensible generic database structure. - Designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure to provide highly complex, reliable, and scalable databases that meet organizational objectives. - Performing systems analysis on databases and resolving performance and capacity issues as needed. - Developing load-balancing processes to ensure operational processes run smoothly. - Designing database solutions, defining database physical structure, functional capabilities, security, backup, and recovery specifications. - Maintaining database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6-10 years of experience with database architecture/analyst experience on similar custom development software projects. - Experience in creating/perfecting stored procedures, triggers, indexes, functions, and other database constraints. - Familiarity with Object-Oriented (OO) to relational DBMS translations. - Experience with database replication and synchronization in disconnected/reconnected environments. - Proficiency in MySQL Server and implementing Reporting servers. - Experience in implementing Change Data Capture (CDC) scenarios.
