Database Specialist/ Architect/ Designer

As a Database Architect, you will be responsible for developing database architectural strategies to meet business and industry requirements. This involves designing, modeling, and implementing data architecture to support high performance databases in high availability environments. Your role will include creating data partitions, function-based indexes, and load-balancing processes to ensure efficient access to the database structure. You will design, develop, and implement infrastructure to provide complex, reliable, and scalable databases that align with the organization's objectives. Additionally, you will perform systems analysis on databases to address performance and capacity issues as they arise. Your expertise in database solutions will be crucial in defining the physical structure, security measures, and recovery specifications of the system. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in database architecture and analysis, particularly on custom development software projects. Proficiency in creating and optimizing stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and database constraints is essential. Experience with Object-Oriented (OO) to relational DBMS translations, database replication, MySQL Server, and implementing Reporting servers will be beneficial. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining database performance by identifying and resolving production and development issues, integrating new releases, and providing user support. Your expertise in implementing Change Data Capture (CDC) scenarios will be highly valued in this position.
