Database (Oracle EBS DBA Architect)

As a Senior Consultant Database (Oracle EBS DBA Architect), your role involves working as a Core DBA with extensive experience in GoldenGate and Database Migrations. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting mission-critical systems in a 24/7 environment while also engaging with customers to provide technical consultation and guidance. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Core DBA tasks such as installation, upgrade, configuration, migration, and performance tuning of Oracle DB (12c/18c/19c). - Work directly with end customers, offering technical consultation and guidance. - Support Oracle databases in high-volume, high-pressure environments. - Execute Database Migrations and manage GoldenGate replication setups. - Manage RAC, ASM, Multitenant, and large Database Management Systems. - Handle backup & recovery procedures, including RMAN and Data Guard. - Conduct performance tuning, SQL tuning, query optimization, and partitioning. - Engage in knowledge transfer sessions, mentoring, and documentation. - Review and create knowledge articles. - Utilize Enterprise Manager and optionally Exadata. - Contribute to team productivity by sharing best practices, tools, and utilities. Technical Skills Required: Mandatory: - Oracle DBA (12c/18c/19c) - GoldenGate (MUST) - Database Migration (MUST) - Database Architecture & Administration - Multitenant, RAC, ASM - RMAN, Data Guard - Performance Tuning (DB + SQL) - Partitioning & Database Security - Enterprise Manager (OEM) - UNIX/Linux administration fundamentals Good to Have: - Experience with Exadata (Engineered Systems) - Exposure to cloud database technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.) Certifications: - Oracle Certified Consultant / OCP DBA - Preferred: Oracle Certified Technical DBA Gold 11i (Intermediate 9) Soft Skills / Personal Attributes: - Self-driven and result-oriented - Strong customer relationship and client interaction skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage high workloads - Flexibility for night shifts or late hours - Willingness to work from the client's location (local) Qualification: - BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc.
