Database Developer

Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience as a database developer. Proven experience as a database developer or administrator, with expertise in relational databases such as MySQL and non-relational databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis. Strong SQL skills and experience with database optimization techniques. Experience working with large datasets and complex data models in a financial or similar domain. Proficiency in database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS). Capability to work in multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with cloud-based database platforms such as Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure Cosmos DB. Knowledge of distributed database systems and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for database automation and CI/CD. Previous experience in the financial services industry or a similar regulated environment.
