Database Developer 3 (Third Party)

As an experienced developer, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Development of functions, stored procedures, and packages using technologies such as external tables, bulk statement processing, dynamic statement execution, bind variables, and ref cursors, PL/SQL object types. - SQL statement tuning, reviewing explain plans, and utilizing optimizer hints to ensure optimal performance. - Handling large volumes of data, including millions/billions of rows, and working with partitioned tables effectively. - Integrating with ETL processes and utilizing ETL tools for data processing. - Coding applications following best practices and ensuring proper documentation. - Unit testing of code to maintain quality standards. - Contributing to design improvements and product enhancements based on unique requirements. - Demonstrating the ability to understand and implement specific project requirements. - Being a self-learner with the capability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. Qualifications required for this role include: - Excellent skills in relational database design. - Proficiency in Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Maria DB databases. - Familiarity with Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts and technologies. - Understanding of data warehousing tools, patterns, and processes. - Knowledge of scripting languages would be an added advantage. - Experience with web servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, and any additional web servers. - Knowledge of Java/J2EE frameworks would be considered a plus.
