Database Design and Implementation: DBAs design and implement database structures, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the organization. Data Management: They manage data storage, access, and security, ensuring data integrity and availability. Performance Tuning: DBAs monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve speed and efficiency. Security and Compliance: They implement and maintain security measures, ensuring data is protected from unauthorized access and complies with relevant regulations. Backup and Recovery: DBAs develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data can be restored in case of disaster. Troubleshooting and Support: They troubleshoot database issues, provide technical support to users, and document solutions. Collaboration: DBAs work with developers, data architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement new features and resolve issues.
