Database Administrator- PostgreSQL

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) with 5+ year of experience to join our team. The role will begin from our Jaipur office and shift to remote after the onboarding/training phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage PostgreSQL database servers
• Ensure database performance, availability, and security
• Perform regular database tuning and optimization
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently
• Implement security policies and access controls
• Support developers with SQL queries and performance tuning

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5+ year of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Strong skills in SQL and PL/pgSQL
• Experience in replication, clustering, and high availability
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Knowledge of monitoring and database optimization tools
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, etc.)
• Exposure to automation tools like Ansible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
