About The Role

Project Role Database Administrator

Project Role Description Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.
Must have skills Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

SummaryAs a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the database systems meet the needs of the organization and support its goals effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Assist in the development of database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration.

Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.

Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.

Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database management.

Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for database scripting and automation.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
