Job Description

Required Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills Familiarity with UDB, SYBASE, DB2, z/OS and SQL Server RDBMS Familiarity with shell scripting, python, and automation techniques Familiarity with Postgres Aurora and Microsoft Azure a plus Familiarity with developing strong working relationships across the organization while driving database security standardization solutions across multiple database platforms Maintain a positive attitude in high pressure situations, with good conflict management, problem solving and customer service skills Required Experience & Education: 11-13 years of experience Bachelors degree or equivalent degree and work experience is required Must have 5+ years of experience in Oracle database management Must have 10+ years of experience in Excel, Outlook, etc. Highly skilled and typically requires a bachelor's degree Experience with database monitoring and vulnerability reporting tools. (Guardium/Tenable) Ability to multi-task, adapt and address issues in a timely fashion in an agile environment Ability work independently and communicate clearly across teams Ability to proactively identify and lead improvements to ensure security and stability in database environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills
