About the Role:

DataStage Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs and workflows using
IBM DataStage
.
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, resolving data issues and ensuring data quality.
Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms.
Work with source and target databases, including
SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or other RDBMS
.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
DataStage on cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of
Big Data tools
like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
Experience with other ETL tools like Informatica or Talend.
Familiarity with
data governance, metadata management, and data quality tools
.
Relevant certifications such as
IBM Certified Developer DataStage
.
