IBM DataStage developer

Roles & Responsibilities

8+ years of hands-on project experience in
IBM DataStage
Strong understanding of
Data Warehouse concepts
Proficient in
SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX
Expertise in
ETL Development and Testing
Knowledge of
scheduling tools
Ability to independently manage end-to-end tasks
Review project briefs and collaborate with key stakeholders
Design and develop scalable
DataStage ETL solutions
Update and maintain
repositories, data marts, and data warehouses
Monitor ETL jobs and identify performance bottlenecks
Test, debug, and troubleshoot ETL processes
Optimize and enhance existing ETL frameworks
Provide support on data storage, handling, and access issues
Preferred:
Experience in
PySpark
Good to Have: Knowledge of Python
Good to Have: Awareness of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc
