Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at our company located in Nagercoil, you will play a vital role in transforming raw data into valuable insights that will drive strategic decisions and enhance product enhancements. You should possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, proficiency in data science tools, and a strong enthusiasm for data manipulation. Your responsibilities will include analyzing both structured and unstructured data sets to identify patterns and trends, constructing predictive models and machine learning algorithms, collaborating with business teams to uncover data-driven opportunities, and effectively communicating findings through various mediums such as reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for data cleaning, validation, preprocessing, developing A/B testing frameworks, and collaborating with software engineers and analysts to implement data-centric solutions. To excel in this role, you must have a solid foundation in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning, along with hands-on experience using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Proficiency in SQL for data querying, familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib/Seaborn, and a good grasp of statistics, probability, and algorithms are also essential. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule that requires in-person work at our Nagercoil location.
