Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with 34 years of experience in Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and machine learning. The ideal candidate will contribute to building intelligent systems using LLMs, optimize chunking and retrieval strategies, manage vector databases, and fine-tune models for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing RAG-based GenAI systems using LLMs and embeddings
• Develop chunking strategies to improve document retrieval and context relevance
• Fine-tune transformer-based models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral) using LoRA or PEFT techniques
• Work with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) for semantic search and retrieval
• Build and evaluate ML models for classification, regression, and recommendation tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML and GenAI solutions into products
• Monitor model performance and iterate based on feedback and metrics
• Stay informed about emerging trends in GenAI, NLP, and MLOps

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
• 3–4 years of experience in data science, NLP, or machine learning
• Hands-on experience with GenAI and ML model development

Preferred Attributes

• Exposure to open-source LLMs (e.g., Mistral, LLaMA, Falcon)
• Understanding of semantic search and prompt engineering
• Contributions to AI projects or research
• Certification in Generative AI, NLP, or ML (e.g., DeepLearning.AI, Hugging Face)
