About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in signature verification, image processing, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to verify handwritten and digital signatures with high accuracy and robustness. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to implement scalable models for fraud detection and identity verification systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement machine learning models for offline and online signature verification.

· Apply computer vision, deep learning, and feature extraction techniques to analyze and authenticate signatures.

· Work with datasets containing scanned or digital signatures to identify key biometric features.

· Preprocess data (image cleaning, segmentation, augmentation) for model training and evaluation.

· Evaluate model performance using metrics like FAR (False Acceptance Rate), FRR (False Rejection Rate), and ROC-AUC.

· Collaborate with software engineers to integrate verification models into production systems.

· Continuously optimize algorithms for scalability, accuracy, and low latency.

· Stay updated with research trends in signature verification, handwriting analysis, and biometric AI.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.

· 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist / ML Engineer with focus on image recognition or biometric systems.

· Strong hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, and related libraries.

· Expertise in CNNs, Siamese Networks, or Triplet Loss models for verification tasks.

· Good understanding of image preprocessing, feature extraction, and data augmentation.

· Experience with large datasets, model training, and deployment in production environments.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and MLOps pipelines.

· Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,992,279.19 per year
