Job Description

About the Role:

Data Modeller

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data models.
Define data standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across databases and systems.
Support the design and implementation of data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes.
Analyze existing data structures and recommend improvements for optimization and scalability.
Work with database developers to implement data models in relational or NoSQL databases.
Provide guidance on data governance, data lineage, and data management best practices.
Participate in data validation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies in data modeling and management.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
NoSQL databases
(MongoDB, Cassandra) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality tools.
Certifications in data management, such as
CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
