Job Description

Role Overview: In this role, you will collaborate with IDP's Data Engineering and Governance team to analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models. You will evaluate existing data systems, work with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows, and develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system. Additionally, you will review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility, implement data strategies, develop physical data models, update and optimize local and metadata models, evaluate implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency, troubleshoot, and optimize data systems. You will also work with Product owners, Data Scientist, Data Engineers, Data Analyst, Software developers incl. Architects to efficiently build data models inline with IDP's data vision. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models. - Evaluate existing data systems. - Create conceptual data models and data flows. - Develop best practices for data coding. - Review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility. - Implement data strategies and develop physical data models. - Update and optimize local and metadata models. - Evaluate implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. - Troubleshoot and optimize data systems. - Work with various stakeholders to efficiently build data models. - Prepare and maintain training material, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Statistics. - 5-8 years+ experience of machine-learning in production with evidence of successful delivery and overall, 10+ years IT experience. - Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools. - Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Advanced troubleshooting skills. - Ability to effectively present information, gain feedback, and respond to questions from groups of senior leaders, stakeholders, and customers. - Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment. - Data Modelling certification is desirable.
