Data Management Consultant

Responsibilities :

A day in the life of a data management consultant at Infosys involves:

Collaborating with internal and client IT stakeholders, defining the to-be processes and producing detailed functional and technical design specifications based on requirements

Actively working with and aiding the project team in different phases of the project including problem definition, planning and roadmap definition, fit-gap analysis, effort estimation, solution design and development

Additional Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience with other ETL tools like Informatica or Incorta will be of added value

An ideal candidate would also possess experience working with Oracle BI reporting platforms or products

Awareness of the latest technologies and trends in the field of data management is preferred

A keen sense of interest in learning new technologies and skills

Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires travel and/ or relocation within the country.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

We are looking for candidates having a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and implementing ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and an overall 2+ years of IT industry experience

The candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of Data Modeling concepts and techniques

The candidate must possess work experience in implementing and/ or supporting data warehouse systems or solutions

The candidate should have the ability to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into design specifications

Candidate should also demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members across geographical locations
