Data Governance Architect

As a skilled Data Governance Architect, you will be responsible for designing solutions and leading the implementation on Collibra/Purview. Your extensive experience in data management activities, such as Data Quality, Data catalog, Data Security, and data Masking, will be crucial. Your role involves enabling Data Governance (DG) in an organization, defining and implementing policies and guidelines, designing processes, uplifting data literacy, improving data trust, enhancing data accessibility, and outlining a future-ready operating model. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing thought leadership, frameworks, best practices, and subject matter expertise in Collibra/Purview to deliver effective Data Governance and Management solutions to clients. - Implementing and customizing the Collibra Data Governance/Azure Purview Platform based on business requirements. - Setting up and managing workflows, data governance, and data quality rules. - Establishing integration capabilities between Collibra/Azure Purview and various data sources/systems across on-premises and cloud environments. - Developing and configuring the Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) meta-model, including assets, relationships, domains, and communities. - Developing and deploying comprehensive solutions for metadata management, data lineage tracing, and governance. - Working with business SMEs and project partners to define DG, metadata, and DQ requirements. - Developing a strategic plan for implementing and managing enterprise-wide DG. - Conducting enterprise-wide data governance maturity assessments and defining current, future, and aspirational states. - Skilled in conducting pilot projects within strict deadlines to showcase perspectives. - Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data governance tools. Qualifications required for this role: - Over 6 years of experience, with at least 4 years in DG tool implementation. - Prior hands-on implementation experience with Collibra or Azure Purview. - Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices. - Executive presence and the ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders. - Collibra Ranger certification is a big plus. Your expertise and experience in data governance tools will be instrumental in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.,
